How do Parent/Student request for a Home Tutor?
Please fill up the “Asking For Tutor” Application Form and email: nationtuition@gmail.com. After which, the consultant will contact the Parent/Student by Email/Call/SMS as accordingly to find out more details and/or if there is a Suitable Home Tutor within a few days. If the Parent/Student is not comfortable with the application form and/or unable to email us, the parents/students can contact directly with friendly and senior consultant @ +65 8431 7122.
Can Parent/Student request a specific Home Tutor?
Yes, the Parent/Student may inform the consultant that you would prefer with the Tutor’s Full Name. However, Please take note that the Tutor is subjected to availability and Nation Tuition Education Service would appreciate the understanding of the parents/students on the suitability of the Tutor in order to Maintain the Customer Satisfactory Level.
How do Nation Tuition Verify Each Tutors’ Identities and Qualification?
Nation Tuition Education Service request every Tutors to email SoftCopy of the NRIC & Certificates during Registration to place them on a Higher Matching Priority. It is a requirement for them to do it upon Confirmation of Assignment. A random interview checklist will be conducted for any Nation Tutors to ensure the performance of the Nation Tutors.
Can Parent/Student request for the Softcopy of the Tutor’s Documents?
Yes, however, Nation Tuition Education Service do not advise such request since most tutors are not comfortable with strangers holding on to their personal documents. If necessary, we have to make special request with the tutor for permission first. As a trusted tuition agency appointed by the tutors and parents/students, Nation Tuition Education Service will make sure the tutors have submitted their documents to Nation Tuition for verification before or during confirmation of the first tutoring day. The tutors are required to bring along their original copies of documents on the first lesson if required by the parents/students, or otherwise, parent/student may reject them immediately and inform Nation Tuition Education Service about it.
What are the Singapore Home Tuition Rates For Each Education Levels?
The Tuition Fees Rates is found under “Singapore Tuition Rates Guide Table”. Please Note that Home Tutors may quote for a much Higher Tuition Fee – The actual prices maybe vary depending on Individual Tuition Assignment due to factors such as Qualification of Tutors, Tutors’ Experiences, Location, Number of Subjects etc.
Do I (Parents/Students) have to pay you (Nation Tuition Education Service) for your service?
No. Parents/Students do not have to pay any charges. Nation Tuition Education Service would take 50% commission from Nation Tutors instead. There is absolutely no Hidden Cost. It is proven that Home Tutor would put in more efforts and secure the tuition assignment when Nation Tuition Education Service collect 50% commission from them. Parent/Student should alway call Nation Tuition Education Consultant if the Tutors insisted to collect 100% of the Tuition Fee. NEVER pay 100% to the Tutors for the first month OR ELSE you will be paying more, which will be 150% of the Tuition Fee. This is also to ensure fairness towards Nation Tuition Education Service which is an agreement with all the Tutors.
How do Parents/Students make Payment?
For the First 2 Week, Parents/Students will make payment – 50% of Tuition Fees to Nation Tuition Education Service NOT to the Nation Tutor. Please take note that Nation Tutor is fully aware that 50% will be collected by Nation Tuition Education Service . For the subsequent payment (every 2 weeks onwards), you will pay the tuition fees directly to the Tutor accordingly. In this way, Parents/Students do not need to pay any extra amount of money.
Offical Receipt With Nation Tuition Stamp and Receipt Number will be given to Parent/Student after receiving the payment successfully.
What are the Payment Methods?
By Bank Transfer via Internet Banking or ATM Machine with Nation Tuition Education Service Bank Account. The consultant will SMS the account number. For other payment method that you wish to use, kindly let the consultant know about it. For the second and subsequent payments, do alias with the assigned Home Tutor. Cash will be more preferred.
Can I get the Tutor to buy Assessment Book for my Child?
Yes. Parent/Student will have to pay for the Assessment Book (Receipt provided), unless the tutor agrees to pay for it. However, we would strongly advise you to allow the tutor to conduct the first tutoring session before he/she can judge the standard of your child in order to get the appropriate book and materials.
What do Parent/Student do if there is a problem with the Tutor being assigned previously?
Please contact Nation Tuition Education Service immediately. Nation Tuition Education Service will investigate and replace the Nation Tutor with stricter remarks. Nation Tuition Education Service are strongly against irresponsible tutors. Can Parent/Student change the Nation Tutor after a few weeks or months?
Yes. Nation Tuition Education Service do understand that some students are trying hard to communicate with the tutor and even if it fails after a period of time, Nation Tuition Education Service still greatly appreciate the effort and patience. Do approach the consultant and let them know about it and they are ready to search for a more suitable tutor for such case.
Why don’t Nation Tuition Education Service set a Bidding System for Tutors to Apply for Tuition Assignments?
Nation Tuition Education Service strongly believe in looking for Tutors with Suitable Qualities for Every Students. Experienced and Qualified Tutors will not Lower Down the Tuition Fees much and thus, the Tutor who offers the Lowest Tuition Fee (Lowest Bidding) will likely not be a best choice. Is there a Registration or Joining Fee to register as Nation Tutor with Nation Tuition Education Service?
No, there is NO registration or joining fee. There is NO hidden cost and never ask for any credit card information. Nation Tuition Education Service will only collect part of your tuition fee from the Parent/Student as Tutor Agreement for Agency Commission after Nation Tutor has conducted the tuition lesson and thus, do not even need to fork out any money at all.

Can I sign up with another Singapore tuition agency website as well?
Yes, Nation Tuition Education Service will be happy for you if you can obtain an ideal tuition assignment through any Honest Tuition Agency. Bear in mind that Nation Tuition Education Service have a mission to help both Parent/Student and Tutors. Nation Tuition Education Service feel that Any Tuition Agency in Singapore that restricts the Tutor to sign up with Other Tuition Agencies is being unfair to the Tutor, unless such agency can guarantee the Tutor with the number of Tuition Assignments that the Tutor need.
How do I register as a tutor with Nation Tuition Education Service?
Please fill up the “Apply As Tutor” Application Form and email: nationtuition@gmail.com with attachment of your NRIC and Certification. After which, Confirmation Of Email will be send to you with Tutor’s Code. Please take note that you are bound to agree the Term and Condition upon submitting the Application Form and also Tutor’s Code. It will be easier to track with Tutor’s Name and Code.

What are the Rates chargeable by Nation Tuition Education Service for Each Tuition Assignment?
A One time payment of 50% of Tuition Fee For Each Month.
For Example: Monthly Tuition Fee – $230
$115 (Nation Tuition Education Service)
The Tutors will ONLY collect $115.
Nation Tutor is NOT ALLOW to collect the Tuition Fees at all times unless Nation Consultant has given special arragement with the Parent/Student. Nation Tuition Education Service reserves the right to terminate any Tutors for such reason and take legal action to recover the 50% commission from the Tutors. This is also to ensure fairness towards Nation Tuition Education Service which is an agreement with all the Tutors.
How do I make payment to Nation Tuition Education Service?
You do not have to make payment to Nation Tuition Education Service directly. Nation Tuition Education Service will collect the Tuition Fee directly from the Parent/Student. Offical Receipt With Nation Tuition Stamp and Receipt Number will be given to Parent/Student after receiving the payment successfully. The Tutor is allow to request the Offical Receipt as a Proof of Payment from the Parent/Student if required.
What happen if The Tutor is being rejected by the Parent/Student after a few number of lessons?
Nation Tuition Education Service will investigate it and rest assure that Nation Tuition Education Service do understand it may not be the Tutor’s fault. In cases that the Parent/Student does not like the teaching style of yours, Nation Tuition Education Service will be happy to offer the respective Tutors with another Tuition Assignments. However, if you are being terminated by the Parent/Student for violating our Code of Ethics, Nation Tuition Education Service may have to “blacklist” or Terminate The Tutor.
Will The Tutor receive any Tuition Fee if it was terminated by the Parent/Student within the first two weeks?
This is based on a Case by Case Basis. Nation Tuition Education Service will at most give 50% of the Tuition Fee depending on the seriousness of the situation. Nation Tuition Education Service would like to urge Nation Tutors to be confident and familiar with the tutoring subject(s) before applying in order to reduce such problem.
What are the criteria to become a Nation Tutor?
Each Tutor must have at least obtained your ‘O’ level Certificate. NTES Registered Home Tutors are to have the 5 criteria: Right Attitude, Right Tutoring Skills, Right Knowledge, Right Planning and Long Commitment. However, it is up to individual Parent/Student to request for a certain Minimal Qualification, such as Diploma or ‘A’ level Certificate. You must also be 18 or above and either a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR) or Full-Time UnderGraduate Student/ NIE.
Do I have to prove my qualification?
Yes. As a Trusted Tuition Agency in Singapore, Nation Tuition Education Service require every Tutor to email Nation Tuition Education Service a SoftCopy of the document as proof (NRIC, Certificates and Transcripts/Testimonial) for Nation Tuition to verify the Identity and Qualification. Please kindly bring your Certificates along during the first lesson to be verified by the Parent/Student.
What to do if there is no a scanner to scan my document?
Do not worry. Simply use a camera to take photos of them, upload the photos and email them. We do not need very good quality pictures but they must be reasonably visible with the details clearly seen as to be verified.
What will you do with my submitted documents?
Nation Consultant will look through the document provided, verify and update the database and keep them for future reference. If Parent/Student request for such documents as proof, Nation Tuition Education Service will seek the respective Tutor for permission before revealing the information out.
How does Nation Tuition Education Service secure my personal contact information?
The password is encrypted before it is stored into our database, so that nobody, including our consultant, can retrieve it. Please kindly help by secure your account by keeping your password safe.
